Logistics/Procurement Coordinator
We are looking for a candidate to fill a Logistics/Procurement Coordinator position.
A Logistics/Procurement Coordinator manages the end-to-end supply chain, sourcing suppliers, issuing purchase orders (POs), and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery. They optimize inventory levels, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards to minimize disruptions.
Responsibilities
Reviewing purchase requisitions, sourcing new suppliers, negotiating contracts, and issuing purchase orders for goods and services.
Coordinating shipping, receiving, transportation, and customs compliance to manage the flow of goods.
Monitoring stock levels to prevent disruptions and coordinating with warehouses.
Maintaining vendor relationships, evaluating supplier performance, and resolving issues with delivery or quality.
Maintaining detailed records of purchases, pricing, shipping, and supplier data.
Updating stakeholders on shipment arrival times and order statuses.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations
Any other duties within Procurement Department scope of work, which may be reasonably required.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a logistics coordinator, procurement officer, or similar supply chain role.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills, proficiency in ERP/logistics software and MS Office.
Understanding transportation regulations, shipping, and inventory management practices.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Fluency in Azerbaijani and English (Both spoken and written)
Russian language is an advantage
Strong Communication and Organization Skills
Ability to work in a team environment
